Basement Flooring & Stair Refresh
Sicklerville, NJTo help prepare this home for sale, we completed a targeted basement refresh focused on improving the most visibly dated surfaces while working within the defined project scope. The existing carpet was removed from the basement staircase and adjoining room, creating a clean foundation for the planned updates.
New luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the room to provide a durable, low-maintenance surface with a more modern appearance. The existing baseboards were carefully removed and reinstalled around the new flooring; however, repainting the baseboards and walls was not included in the project. As a result, the final detailing was limited by the condition of the existing paint and finishes that remained.
The basement staircase was prepared and repainted to brighten the entrance and create a cleaner transition into the updated space. While the surrounding wall and baseboard finishes were left unchanged, the new flooring and refreshed staircase provided a noticeable cosmetic improvement and helped create a cleaner, more marketable presentation for prospective buyers.
