Laundry Room Ceiling & Drywall Restoration
Tuckerton, NJFollowing the repair of a previous roof leak, this laundry room required extensive ceiling restoration to address the resulting water damage and rebuild the affected area correctly. The damaged drywall and insulation were carefully removed, exposing portions of the original ceiling that had been installed without adequate perimeter support.
New wood blocking was added throughout the ceiling perimeter to create secure attachment points and provide the proper structural backing for the replacement materials. New insulation was then installed, followed by new drywall, complete taping and finishing, primer, and ceiling paint.
A clean trim border was installed around the ceiling perimeter to conceal the transition and provide a polished, intentional finish. The completed restoration corrected the original installation deficiencies while returning the laundry room to a clean, finished, and fully restored condition.

Removed all ceiling drywall affected by the previous roof leak
Removed and replaced the damaged ceiling insulation
Identified areas where the original ceiling lacked proper perimeter framing and support

Installed new ceiling drywall around the existing boiler, venting, and mechanical penetrations
Applied three coats of joint compound and sanded the ceiling to create a smooth, uniform surface
Primed and painted the completed ceiling
Installed a trim border around the ceiling perimeter to create a clean, finished transition
