Whole-Home Exterior Restoration & Curb-Appeal Transformation

Whole-Home Exterior Restoration & Curb-Appeal Transformation

Tuckerton, NJ

This 100-year-old Tuckerton home received a complete exterior restoration that corrected years of deterioration and created a cohesive new appearance across the entire property.

The house was pressure washed before all siding received two coats of exterior paint. Missing siding was installed where the laundry-room storm windows were removed. The original wood window trim was preserved through extensive scraping and preparation, followed by oil-based primer and exterior paint. Replacement windows were installed throughout the home.

Existing fascia was restored and painted where appropriate, while the remaining fascia was wrapped in aluminum as part of a completely new soffit system installed around the house. The foundation received two coats of exterior trim paint, and the laundry-room entrance was upgraded with a new exterior door, trim, and steps. The main roof was also completely reshingled.

The separately documented front-porch renovation became the centerpiece of the home’s curb-appeal transformation. Together with the new blue exterior, white trim, replacement windows, new roof, soffits, fascia, and refinished foundation, it gave the home an entirely new identity.

The detached garage was cleared out, its deteriorated side bump-out was removed, and roofing shingles previously used as wall covering were replaced with new OSB T1-11 siding. The garage roof was reshingled, the doors were removed and rebuilt, and the entire structure was painted to match the house—completing a unified transformation of the property.
